Hey Everyone
So this week I’m choosing an app that moves away from Apples built in Maps App. If you’ve never heard of Waze @ https://www.waze.com you need to check them out. I drive often around Virginia and DC area for customers and meetings and I use this all the time. The best feature is the live “crowd” sourcing of alerts wether construction, police, debris, disabled cars as well as why traffic slow or backing up. This is all from other Waze users or Wazers as they call them in the app. Their website page line "Get the best route, every day, with real–time help from other drivers.” Is truly how this app operates. Also If you are a fan of NBC12 in the Richmond are they also report their traffic now w/ Waze at various times though out the morning show, and you can join their NBC12 group. The app also provides a bit of fun for you w/ the alerts as well as if you are driving as a group for large outing or vacation you can keep track of each other. Keeps the drive fun and interesting. The side bonus which I’ve been loving for as week or so is you can choose the voices for the app announcements and they have Keith Morrison from Dateline and his awesome voice and some great little comments he makes.
